Ways to Get Here & Around Campus

Metro rail & bus makes commuting easy.

NFTA Metro operates the region’s public transit system, including numerous bus routes and the Metro Rail line. Go ahead and leave the driving to someone else. Many companies on the campus offer reduced-cost transit passes to their employees. Contact your HR department to learn more. Interested in giving transit a try? Metro Rail

Perfect for those who live near Main Street or UB South Campus, Metro Rail can get you to your destination quickly and comfortably. It’s only 11 minutes from University Station (UB South Campus) to the Allen/Medical Campus Station. Metro Rail runs every 10-15 minutes with weekday service beginning around 5:30 AM and ending around 12:30 AM.

Metro Rail Park & Rides

Free park-n-rides are located at University Station and LaSalle Station in North Buffalo. It’s only an 11-minute train ride to Downtown Buffalo from there.

There’s also a kiss-n-ride at University Station where you can be dropped off and picked up by whoever you’re sharing a car ride with.
